CONCACAF Champions League: Galaxy Erase Two-Goal Deficit To Gain Series-Opening Draw In Toronto; Sounders Hold Off Santos Laguna In Game One

The quarterfinal round of the CONCACAF Champions League continued with two games contested on Wednesday.


At Toronto:


In a contest played before an announced crowd of 47,658 fans at the Rogers Centre,  Mike Magee (28') and Landon Donovan (88') each scored a goal as the Los Angeles Galaxy came back from two goals down to gain a 2-2 road draw with Toronto FC in the opening game of their two-match series.  Ryan Johnson (11') and Luis Silva (16') each tallied once for the Reds. 


At Seattle:


Brad Evans scored the game winner in the 62nd minute as the Seattle Sounders took game one 2-1 at home over Santos Laguna in their two-match series.  David Estrada scored at 11 minutes for the Sounders while the visitors' Herculez Gomez scored in the 60th minute to keep Santos in the series.
