Copa Libertadores: 1-1 Draw Between Chilean Clubs; 1-1 Draw Between Penarol and Universidad de Chile Too; Home Win For Vasco da Gama

Three games were played on Tuesday as group-stage action in the Copa Libertadores resumed.


Group Three:


Emanuel Herrera's equalizer in the 45th minute enabled Union Espanola to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Universidad Catolica.  Enzo Andia scored at 39 minutes for the visitors.


Group Five:


Goals from Christian Ramos (OG-19'), Dede (60'), and Juninho Pernambucano (PK-81') lifted Vasco da Gama to a 3-2 home win over Alianza Lima.

At Montevideo, Uruguay:


Junior Fernandes equalized in the 35th minute as Universidad de Chile gained a 1-1 road draw with Penarol, whose goal came from Nicolas Freitas in the 22nd minute.
