FA Cup: Black Cats To Host Replay With Toffees; Spurs-Trotters Match Suspended After Player Collapse

The quarterfinal round in England's FA Cup commenced with two games on Saturday.

At Liverpool, England:

Tim Cahill equalized in the 22nd minute for Everton as the Toffees salvaged a 1-1 home draw with Sunderland.  Phillip Bardsley's  goal at 12 minute provided the Black Cats' goal.  The Black Cats will host a replay on a date to be determined.

At London:

The match between Tottenham Hotspur and visiting Bolton was suspended after 41 minutes after Trotters midfielder Fabrice Muamba suffered a heart attack  and had to be carried off on a stretcher.  He was listed in critical condition at a North London hospital at this time.  The match was deadlocked at 1-1 with Gareth Bale's own goal at 6 minutes giving Bolton and early lead before Kyle Walker equalized for Spurs in the 11th minute.
