Sam Gallagher (52'), Nguyen Van Quyet (71'), and Hughtun Hector (83') each scored a goal this past Wednesday as Hanoi T&T FC from Vietnam knocked off home-stading Pune FC 3-0 in a one-match playoff which opened the qualifying phase for group-stage berths in this year's AFC Champions League. Next Saturday, the club from the Vietnamese capital will pay a visit on Muangthon United in Thailand in the second qualifying round.
