Leigh Broxham scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute as the Melbourne Victory battled back from behind to upend visiting Muangthong United of Thailand 2-1.
At Beijing, China:
Joffre Guerron scored twice in the first dozen minutes (1', 11') as Beijing Guoan demolished visiting Chonburi FC of Thailand 4-0.
WEST ASIA ZONE:
At Doha, Qatar:
Sebastian Soria (29'), Youssef Msakni (72'), Karim Boudiaf (78'), and Luiz Ceara (90'+3) each delivered a goal as Lekhwiya dominated visiting Al-Kuwait 4-1.
At Doha, Qatar:
Nilmar (36'), Mohammed Muntari (63'), and Mohamed El-Sayed (85') delivered the goals as El Jaish dominated visiting Al-Qadsia 3-0.
