2014 FIFA World Cup: El Tri Hold Brazil To Scoreless Draw; Comeback Win For Belgium; Russia And South Korea Battle To 1-1 Deadlock

Three games were played in Brazil on Tuesday in the FIFA World Cup as the opening cycle of games concluded and the second cycle commenced.

At Belo Horizonte:

Dries Mertens scored the winning goal in the 80th minute as Belgium came from behind to defeat Algeria 2-1.  Marouane Fellaini is seen here celebrating after scoring the Belgians' first goal in the 70th minute.

Alexander Kerzhakov's equalizer in the 74th minute carried Russia to a 1-1 draw with South Korea, whose goal came in the 68th minute from Keun-Ho Lee, thanks to a goalkeeping boo-boo from the Russians' Igor Akinfeev (shown here).
