Group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores continued on Wednesday with seven games.

GROUP A:

At Guayaquil, Ecuador:

Gabriel Torres (55'), Christian Ortiz (87'), and Cristian Pellerano (PK-90'+5) each scored once as Independiente del Velle dominated Barcelona SC 3-0 on the road in a battle of Ecuadorian clubs.

At Barranquilla, Colombia:

Everton Ribeiro scored twice (6', 79') as Flamengo downed Atletico Junior 2-1 on the road.

At Manta, Ecuador:

Diego Alaniz's equalizer in the 69th minute carried Delfin to a 1-1 home draw with Club Olimpia.

The Paraguayan club got on the scoreboard thanks to the hosts' Luis Canga fifth-minute own goal.
