MLS: Saturday Victories For DC, Reds, Five Stripes, Loons, SKC, Rapids, Caps

Eleven games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Jonathan Bornstein's equalizer in the 70th minute lifted the Chicago Fire to a 1-1 road draw with the New England Revolution.

Adam Buksa scored in the 28th minute for the Revs.

At Sandy, Utah:

Damir Kreilach's stoppage-time equalizer (90'+1) carried Real Salt Lake to a 1-1 home draw with the New York Red Bulls.

At Frisco, Texas:

Zdenek Ondrasek (83') and Ricardo Pepi (90'+6) each scored a goal in the waning minutes as FC Dallas came back from two goals down to gain a 2-2 home draw with the Montreal Impact.

Maximiliano Urruti, and ex-Hoop (and ex-Timber), scored both of the visitors' goals in the 59th and 68th minutes.

At Washington:

Yamil Asad (PK-59') and Frederic Brillant (61') each scored a goal two minutes apart as DC United came from behind to upend visiting Inter Miami 2-1.

Rodolfo Pizarro scored the expansion Herons' first-ever goal in the second minute.

At Toronto:

Ifunanyachi Achara scored the only goal of the match in the 81st minute as Toronto FC defeated visiting New York City 1-0.

At Atlanta:

Ezequiel Barco (21') and Emerson Hyndman (55') each scored once as Atlanta United, minus the injured Josef Martinez, held off visiting FC Cincinnati 2-1.

At San Jose, California:

Ike Opara scored twice (13', 71') as Minnesota United dominated the home-standing San Jose Earthquakes 5-2.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Alan Pulido (16'), Roger Espinoza (26'), Gadi Kinda (65'), and Khiry Shelton (77') each scored once as Sporting Kansas City demolished the visiting Houston Dynamo 4-0.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Drew Moor scored the game winner in the 90th minute as the Colorado Rapids defeated visiting Orlando City 2-1.

At Carson, California:


Tosaint Ricketts delivered the game's lone tally in the 74th minute as the Vancouver Whitecaps upended the Los Angeles Galaxy 1-0 on the road.

At Seattle:

Raul Ruidiaz's equalizer in the 79th minute lifted the Seattle Sounders to a 1-1 home draw with Columbus.

Gyasi Zardes scored for the visiting Crew in the 33rd minute.
