Team USA head coach Jurgen Klinsman was ejected by referee Walter Quesada in the 87th minute for arguing over a foul on DaMarcus Beasley. Whether he will coach in Sunday's final will depend on a decision by CONCACAF's disciplinary committee.
In the nightcap, Roman Torres scored the winning goal in the 61st minute as Panama knocked off Mexico 3-1, ousting the tournament's two-time defending champions.
Team USA will take on Panama in Sunday's final at Soldier Field in Chicago (1:00 PM Pacific Time, over the Fox Network).
