CONCACAF Gold Cup: Team USA, Ticos Advance To Quarterfinals

The second cycle of CONCACAF Gold Cup group-stage contests concluded with two games from Group C played at Sandy, Utah.

In the opener, Chris Wondolowski scored twice in the second half (66', 85') as the United States scored four unanswered goals en route to a 4-1 victory over Cuba, securing a berth in the quarterfinal round.

In the second contest, Dalton Eiley's own goal in the 40th minute turned out to be the only goal of Costa Rica 1-0 win over Belize, sending the Ticos into the quarterfinal round.
