EURO 2008 GROUP B PLAY: Croatia Stuns Germany And Advances; Austria And Poland Draw And Remain Alive

Matchday #2 for EURO 2008 Group B play on Thursday:

At Klagenfurt, Austria:

Goals from Darijo Srna (24') and Ivica Olic (62', seen here celebrating) guided Croatia to a 2-1 victory over Germany to clinch a berth in the quarterfinal round.

At Vienna:

Ivaca Vastic's successful stoppage-time penalty kick (90'+3, he's seen here celebrating with teammates) enabled Austria to gain a 1-1 draw with Poland as both teams remained alive for a berth in the quarterfinals. Roger Guerreiro provided Poland with their one score at 30 minutes.
