EURO 2008: SPAIN DEFEATS GERMANY FOR FIRST MAJOR TITLE IN 44 YEARS

At Vienna:

Fernando Torres scored the only goal of the match in the 33rd minute (pictured here) as Spain defeated Germany 1-0 Sunday night in the final of the 2008 European Championship, giving the Spaniards their first major title since winning the European Championship final in 1964.
