The Los Angeles Galaxy defeated Japan's Oita Trinita 2-0 Wednesday night to advance to the final of the Pan-Pacific tournament. Edson Buddle (44') and Jovan Kirovski (PK-53') provided the goals for the Galaxy, who will face South Korea's Suwon Bluewings, who because of Cho Yong-tae's goal at 81 minutes, defeated Mainland China's Shandong Luneng 1-0 in the other semifinal.
