At Torreon, Mexico:

Neri Cardozo scored the series-winning goal in the 82nd minute on Wednesday as Monterrey, despite dropping a 2-1 road decision in game two to Santos Laguna, won their second straight CONCACAF Champions League title 3-2 on aggregate for the two-match final.  The Striped Gang will once again represent CONCACAF in this coming December's FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in Japan.
