Ricky van Wolfswinkel scored the winning goal in the 77th minute as Sporting CP defeated visiting (and relegation-threatened) Academica 2-1 in the lone Monday Portuguse Primeira Liga contest. The win put the Lions three points behind Sporting Braga for the third and final UEFA Champions League berth with two games remaining.
