Seattle Sounders: Two Games, Two Wins, Two Shutouts; Quakes Top Dyanmo; Rapids Beat Wizards; Trio Of 1-1 Draws

Six games made up the Saturday Major League Soccer schedule.

At East Rutherford, New Jersey:

Kenny Mansally's goal at 90 minutes lifted the New England Revolution to a 1-1 road draw with the New York Red Bulls.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Thanks to Gino Padula's own goal (85') Toronto FC were able to gain a 1-1 road deadlock with the Columbus Crew. Guillermo Barros Schelotto's penalty kick at 30 minutes provided the lone goal for the defending champs.

At Washington, DC:

The Chicago Fire gained a 1-1 road stalemate with DC United thanks to Patrick Nyarko's equalizer at 53 minutes. Luciano Emilio put United on the scoreboard at 7 minuts.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Omar Cummings scored the game-winning goal (74') as the Colorado Rapids topped the Kansas City Wizards 2-1 at home.

At Santa Clara, California:

The San Jose Earthquakes, with goals from Ryan Johnson (30'), Arturo Alvarez (33'), and Cam Weaver (44'), outlasted the visiting Houston Dyanamo 3-2.

At Seattle:

Goals from Nick Jaqua (17') and Fredy Montero (77') paced the Seattle Sounders to a 2-0 home shutout of Real Salt Lake.
