Copa Libertadores: Junior Barranquilla Win Group Stage Opener

The first full week of group stage action in the Copa Libertadores concluded Thursday with four games.

Group Two:

At Huanuco, Peru:

John Edwis Viafara (21') and Carlos Bacca (65') each tallied once as Junior Barranquilla (Colombia) knocked off Leon de Huanuco 2-1 on the road.

At Porto Alegre, Brazil:


Douglas Dos Santos scored twice (PK-43', 70') as Gremio delivered a 3-0 home beatdown on Bolivia's Oriente Petrolero.
