Copa Libertadores: Universidad San Martin, Emelec, Cruzeiro Pick Up Wins

Match Day #2 in the Copa Libertadores group stage commenced with four games played on Tuesday.


Group One:


At Callao, Peru:


Gianfranco Labarthe Tome (85') and  Carlos Marinelli (90') scored late as Universidad San Martin defeated visiting San Luis 2-0.


At Manizales, Colombia:


Victor Ayala's equalizer at the death (90'+3) enabled Club Libertad to gain a 1-1 road draw with Once Caldas.  Dayro Moreno scored at 28 minutes for the hosts.

Group Six:


At Guayaquil, Colombia:


Eduardo Morante scored the game's lone goal (33') as Emelec defeated visiting Jorge Wilstermann 1-0.


Group Seven:


At Nogueira, Brazil:


Wallyson scored twice (29', 63') as Cruzeiro demolished visiting Club Guarani 4-0.
