MLS: TFC, Fire, Philly, Red Bulls, Dynamo, RSL, Sounders, Galaxy Rack Up Wins On No-Draw Saturday

Eight games were played in Major League Soccer on Saturday.


At Toronto:


Danny Koevermans scored twice in the second half (52', 59') as Toronto FC knocked off the visiting Colorado Rapids 2-1.


At Bridgeview, Illinois:


Dominic Oduro scored the winning goal at 85 minutes as the Chicago Fire defeated visiting Chivas USA 3-2.


At Chester, Pennsylvania:


Sebastien Le Toux scored the only goal of the match in the 31st minute as the Philadelphia Union blanked the visiting Columbus Crew 1-0.


At Frisco, Texas:


Thanks to Luke Rodgers' tally in the 36th minute, the New York Red Bulls ended their eight-match winless streak with a 1-0 road win over FC Dallas.


At Houston:


With Brad Davis (PK-46') and Will Bruin (79') providing the goal power, the Houston Dynamo came from behind to defeat the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-1.


At Sandy, Utah:


Nat Borchers used his noggin in scoring the lone goal of the match in the 54th minute as Real Salt Lake downed visiting Sporting Kansas City 1-0.


At Seattle:


Alvaro Fernandez scored twice (45', 59') as the Seattle Sounders blanked DC United at home before a sellout crowd (36,242) as CenturyLink Field, enabling the Sounders to set a new MLS single-season attendance record (553,987) with two home games remaining.


At Carson, California:


Mike Magee scored twice (36', 74') as the Los Angeles Galaxy remained unbeaten at home following their 3-0 whitewashing of the hapless Vancouver Whitecaps.
