MLS: Dynamo, SKC, RLS, Sounders, Whitecaps (First Time Ever On The Road)Pick Up Wins

Seven games were played in Major League Soccer on Saturday.


At Montreal:


Dominic Oduru scored in the 71st minute to lift the Chicago Fire to a 1-1 road draw with the Montreal Impact.  Davy Arnaud scored the Impact's first-ever MLS goal in the 56th minute as the hosts picked up their first point.


At San Francisco:


Brad Davis scored the only goal of the match on a penalty kick in the 14th minute as the Houston Dynamo picked up a 1-0 road win over the San Jose Earthquakes at AT&T Park.


At Frisco, Texas:


Darlington Nagbe's 51st-minute equalizer lifted the Portland Timbers to a 1-1 road draw with FC Dallas.  Blaz Perez scored his first MLS goal for the Hoops in the 22nd minute.


At Kansas City, Kansas:


Graham Zusi (38'), Kei Kamara (39'), and C. J. Sapong (47') each delivered a goal as Sporting Kansas City dominated the visiting New England Revolution 3-0.


At Sandy, Utah:


Fabian Espindola (39') and Luis Gil (58') provided the scoring that carried Real Salt Lake to a 2-0 home win over the New York Red Bulls.


At Seattle:


David Estrada delivered a hat trick (17', 51', 63') as the Seattle Sounders blasted visiting Toronto FC in their season opener in front of 38,709 fans, the largest turnout for a MLS opener in Seattle.


At Carson, California:


Jay DeMerit scored the only goal of the match in the 68th minute as the Vancouver Whitecaps collected their first-ever MLS road win, 1-0 over Chivas USA.
