MLS: Dynamo, Red Bulls, RSL, Sounders, Quakes Win; Timbers and Hoops Draw

Six games were played in Major League Soccer on Wednesday.

At Washington:

Will Bruin scored twice (16', 78') as the Houston Dynamo demolished sluggish DC United 4-0 on the road.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Thierry Henry scored twice (45'+2, 88') as the New York Red Bulls held off the visiting Montreal Impact 2-1.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Devon Sandoval (77') and Olmes Garcia (89') each scored once as Real Salt Lake, despite finishing the match with ten men, still came from behind to upend the New England Revolution 2-1 on the road.  The Revs' Saer Sane failed on what would have been a game-tying penalty kick in second-half stoppage time (90'+2) as goalkeeper Nick Rimando made the save.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Djimi Traore scored the only goal of the match in second-half stoppage time (90'+4), as the Seattle Sounders, despite finishing the contest with ten men, knocked off Sporting Kansas City 1-0 on the road.

At Frisco, Texas:

Kenny Cooper's penalty kick (77') enabled FC Dallas to salvage a 1-1 home draw with the Portland Timbers, whose goal came from Darlington Nagbe in the 70th minute.  Both clubs are now riding eight-game unbeaten streaks.

At Santa Clara, California:

Adam Jahn (48') and Chris Wondolowski (81') provided the second-half scoring as the San Jose Earthquakes battled back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to defeat visiting Toronto FC 2-1.
