Spain: Who's Going Up, Down, Where? (Updated On June 9, 2013)

Here's who will be heading to various European club competitions next season as well as being relegated from the Spanish Primera Division:

Atletico Madrid (who, as Copa del Rey winners, would have qualified for the Europa League's group stage, but have clinched a Champions League group-stage berth by finishing third in the league)

Valencia (see Atletico Madrid for expaination.  Valencia finished fifth in the league)

Europa League (Third Qualifying Round):

Sevilla (Rayo Vallecano, who finished ahead of Sevilla, were banned from European competitions for they were denied a UEFA license due to financial problems)

Relegated to Segunda Division:

Mallorca

Deportivo La Coruna

Real Zaragoza

Promoted Automatically From Spanish Segunda Division to Spanish Primera Divisioin:

Only Elche CF  

Villarreal 

Qualified for promotion playoffs:

Relegated from Spanish Segunda Division to Segunda Division B:

Club Deportivo Guadalajara (NOT that one, besides, this club is appealing this decision that was made by the LFP.
