At Guangzhou, China:
Tomi Juric provided the series-winning goal with his successful penalty kick in the 58th minute as the Western Sydney Wanderers, despite dropping a 2-1 road decision in game two to Guangzhou Evergrande, still, with the aggregate score at 2-2, won their series on away goals and dethroned the defending continental champions.
