At Chester, Pennsylvania:
Sebastien Le Toux scored twice (12', 63') as the Philadelphia Union held off the visiting Montreal Impact 2-1.
At Columbus, Ohio:
Luke Moore scored the winning goal in the 84th minute as Toronto FC defeated the Columbus Crew 3-2 on the road.
At Frisco, Texas:
Matt Hedges (9'), Michel (11'), and Fabian Castillo (55') each delivered a goal as FC Dallas defeated the visiting Colorado Rapids 3-1.
At Sandy, Utah:
Chris Schuler scored twice (13', 24') as Real Salt Lake scored all three of their goals in the first 25 minutes en route to a 3-0 home domination of DC United, enabling the hosts to take over first place in the Western Conference standings. RSL goalkeeper Nick Rimando blanked his former team to pick up his 113th career shutout, the most in MLS history.
At Portland, Oregon:
Diego Valeri (10') and Rodney Wallace (39') delivered the scoring as the Portland Timbers picked up only theirs (and goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts') second shutout of the season, blanking visiting Chivas USA 2-0.
