At Torreon, Mexico:
Six different goal scorers each tallied once as Santos Laguna demolished visiting Deportivo Saprissa 6-1 and won the Group A crown and a knockout-stage berth.

Michael Arroyo's equalizer in the 88th minute carried quarterfinal-round-bound Club America to a 1-1 road draw with CD Motagua. Erick Andino scored in the 16th minute for the hosts.

GROUP G:
At Sandy, Utah:
Jamison Olave scored the only goal of the match in the 43rd minute as Real Salt Lake defeated visiting CSD Municipal 1-0 and won Group G and a berth in the quarterfinal round, which means, for the first time, four United States-based clubs advanced to the Champions League's knockout stage.

2. CSD Municipal (GP: 4; GD: -1; PTS: 4)
