MLS: Didier Drogba Brings Impact On Verge Of Playoffs; NYC FC Eliminated

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Didier Drogba scored the only goal of the match on a free kick from 30 yards out in the 15th minute in the lone Saturday Major League Soccer contest as the Montreal Impact closed in on clinching an MLS Cup Playoff berth with their 1-0 road win over the Colorado Rapids.  The Impact's victory mathematically eliminated New York City from playoff contention.
