UEFA Champions League, Group C: Mattress Makers Blow Out Astana; Eagles Top Visiting Gala

The midway point in UEFA Champions League Group B play reached the halfway point on Wednesday with two contests.

At Madrid:

Saul Niguez Esclapez opened the scoring in the 23rd minute as Atletico Madrid demolished visiting FC Astana 4-0.  Here's the Mattress Makers' Oliver Torres scoring the hosts third goal in the 63rd minute.

At Istanbul, Turkey:

Lukas Podolski scored the winning goal in the 33rd minute as Galtasaray defeated visiting SL Benfica 2-1.  Here are the happy Galatasaray celebrating after Cool Hand Lukas' game winner.
