CAF Champions League: Group-Stage Play Opens

Three games were contested on Saturday as group-stage play in the CAF Champions League commenced.

GROUP A:

At Ndola, Zambia:

Clatous Chama scored twice (49', 55') as ZESCO United knocked off visiting Al-Ahly of Egypt 3-2.

At Abidjan, Ivory Coast:

Salah Saidi scored the only goal of the match in the 38th minute as Wydad Casablanca defeated ASEC Mimosas 1-0 on the road.
