Two games were played on Wednesday as the semifinal round of the Amway Canadian Championship came to a conclusion.
At Montreal:
A 0-0 game-two road stalemate with the Montreal Impact was good enough for Toronto FC as the Reds took their two-game series 4-2 on aggregate.
At Vancouver, British Columbia:
Pedro Morales (PK-3'), Nicolas Mezquida (20'), and Octavio Rivero (52') each scored a goal as the Vancouver Whitecaps bounced back from their 2-0 series-opening road defeat with a 3-0 game-two home domination of the Ottawa Fury and ousted the NASL club 3-2 on aggregate.
The Final will open in Toronto on June 21 or 22 with the return match to be played in Vancouver on June 28 or 29. The winner would qualify for the 2017-18 CONCACAF Champions League.
