It's Al Ahly vs. Cotonsport Garoua For CAF Champions League Crown

The semifinal round of the CAF Champions League concluded on Saturday.

At Cairo, Egypt:

Flavio Amado scored the only goal of the match (and the two-game series) at 26 minutes at Al Ahly defeated Nigeria's Enyimba 1-0 in game two at home, thus capturing their two-match set 1-0 on aggregate. Al Ahly will play for what would be a record-breaking sixth African club championship in the two-match home-and-away final against Cameroon's Cotonsport Garoua. They share the record with hated local rivals Zamalek.

At Garaou, Cameroon:

Cotonsport Garoua delivered a 4-0 home beatdown on Zimbabwe's Dyanmos to capture their two-match set 5-0 on aggregate. Sabastien Koua (1'), Jacques Zoua (52'), Daouda Kamilou (65'), and Baba Ousmalia (76') each scored once for the hosts. Cotonsport became the first Cameroonian club to reach the finals of Africa's premier club competition in 28 years.
