Hugo Almeida's goal at 83 minutes (he's seen here celebrating) enabled Werder Bremen to gain a 2-2 road draw with Panathinaikos. Vangelis Mantzios provided both goals for The Greens (36', 68') and Per Mertensacker (29') scored Werder's other goal.

At Milan, Italy:

Adriana provided the game's lone goal (44', pictured here) as Inter Milan blanked visiting Anorthosis Famagusta FC 1-0.
