Chelsea star Didier Drogba's equalizer at 68 minutes lifted Ivory Coast to a 1-1 road draw with Malawi, securing the Ivorians' berth in next year's FIFA World Cup finals. It will be the African nation's second straight appearance. The draw also assured them of a berth in next year's African Nations Cup as well. Ivory Coast join Ghana and hosts South Africa as entrants from the African continent.
