Europa League Group Stage Action Resumes: Toffees No Match For Dragons; AS Roma Gain Late Draw Against Cottagers

Group stage action in the Europa League resumed ---and reached the midway point---with two dozen--count 'em---two dozen games on Thursday.

Group A:

At Timisoara, Romania:

Visiting RSC Anderlecht and FC Timisoara battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Amsterdam, Netherlands:

Ajax Amsterdam
, with goals from Luis Suarez (PK-3') and Dennis Rommedahl (81'), held off visiting Dinamo Zagreb 2-1.
