AFC Champions League

Eight more games were played on Wednesday as group-stage action in the AFC Champions League continued.

Group C:

At Tabriz, Iran:

Karim Ansarifard scored the only goal of the match in the 82nd minute as Tractor Sazi defeated visiting Al-Ittihad 1-0.

At Al Ain, United Arab Emirates:

Asamoah Gyan scored the winning goal in the 65th minute as Al-Ain defeated visiting  Lekhwiya 2-1.

At Doha, Qatar:

Al-Sadd defeated visiting Sepahan 3-1. Khalfan Ibrahim (18'), Nadir Belhadj (87'), and Rodrigo Basrbosa Tabata (90'+2) provided the scoring for the hosts.

At Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:

Nasser Al Shamrani scored twice in the second half (60', 74') as Al-Hilal battled back from a two-goal deficit to salvage a 2-2 home draw with Al-Ahli.  Luis Jiminez (53') and Grafite (58') provided the scoring for the visiting club from the UAE.

At Jeonju, South Korea:

Lee Seung-Gi scored twice in the second half (61', 69') as Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors scored three goals in a period of eleven minutes during their 3-0 home domination of Yokohama F. Marinos.

At Guangzhou, China:

Alessandro Diamanti scored twice (65', 85') as Guangzhou Evergrande opened their title defense with a 4-2 home doubling of the Melbourne Victory.

At Sydney, Australia:

Kim Shin-Wook (35'), Ko Chang-Hyun (43'), and Kang Min-Soo (66') each delivered a goal as Ulsan Hyundai recovered from surrendering a first-minute tally and overcame and overpowered the Western Sydney Wanderers 3-1 on the road.

At Kawasaki, Japan:

Renato Ribeiro Calixto scored the only goal of the match in the 31st minute as Kawasaki Frontale defeated visiting Guizhou Renhe 1-0.
