Europa League

Michy Batshuayi scored twice (65', 90'+1) as Borussia Dortmund took the opening match of their series with Italy's Atalanta 3-1 at home.

At Nice, France:



Manuel Fernandes produced a natural hat trick (PK-45', 69', 77') as Lokomotiv Moscow erased a two-goal deficit to knock off OGC Nice 3-2 on the road in their series opener.



At Copenhagen, Denmark:



Kevin Gameiro scored the winning goal in the 37th minute as Atletico Madrid dominated FC Copenhagen 4-1 on the road in game one.



At Moscow:



Aritz Aduriz scored twice (22', 39') to carry Athletic Bilbao to a series-opening 3-1 road win over Spartak Moscow.



At Athens:



Astrit Ajdarevic's goal in the 80th minute enabled AEK Athens to salvage a 1-1 series-opening home draw with Dynamo Kiev.

Callum McGregor scored the game's only goal in the 79th minute as Celtic defeated visiting Zenit Saint Petersburg 1-0 in their series opening-contest.

At Naples, Italy:



Timo Werner tallied twice (61', 90'+3) as RB Leipzig knocked off Napoli 3-1 on the road in their series opener.



At Decines-Charpieu, France:



Nabil Fekir scored the winning goal in the 49th minute as Lyon defeated visiting Villarreal 3-1 in their series opener.



At San Sebastian, Spain:



Mikel Oyarzabal (OG-27') and Takumi Minamino (90'+4) each scored once as FC Red Bull Salzburg gained a series-opening 2-2 road draw with Real Sociedad.

Alvaro Odriozola (57') and Adnan Januzaj (80') provided the goals for the hosts.
