MLS: Home Sunday Wins For Sounders, Timbers

Two games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Seattle:

Gustav Svensson (23'), Will Bruin (25'), and Jordy Delem (90'+4) each scored once as the Seattle Sounders gathered their first league win of the season, 3-1 at home over Minnesota United.

At Portland, Oregon:

Sebastian Blanco (25'), Fanendo Adi (38'), and Larrys Mabiala (66') each scored once as the Portland Timbers blanked visiting---and previously unbeaten---New York City 3-0.
