MLS: De Ro Haunts Former Team As DCU Knock Off Red Bulls in Jersey; Late Omar Bravo Goal Salvages Home Draw For SKC

Seven games were played in Major League Soccer on Saturday.


At Kansas City, Kansas:


Omar Bravo's late equalizer (90'+3) lifted Sporting Kansas City to a 1-1 home stalemate with Chivas USA.  Nick LaBrocca scored for the Goats at 29 minutes.


At Harrison, New Jersey:


Dwayne De Rosario scored the only goal of the match at 61 minutes as DC United knocked off his most recent former team, the New York Red Bulls, 1-0 on the road.


At Houston:


Danny Cruz (50') and Geoff Cameron (81') each tallied once as the Houston Dynamo blanked visiting Toronto FC 2-0.


At Commerce City, Colorado:


With Conor Casey (25') and Scott Palguta (68') providing the scoring, the Colorado Rapids ended their four-games winless streak with a 2-0 win over the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps.


At Sandy, Utah:


Real Salt Lake knocked off visiting FC Dallas 2-0 as Andy Williams (47') and Fabian Espindola (90') each providing a goal.


At Carson, California:


David Beckham had a hand in both Los Angeles Galaxy goals, assisting on Landon Donovan's goal at 58 minutes, then scoring the game winner on a corner kick at 66 minutes as the Galaxy defeated the visiting Chicago Fire 2-1.


At Santa Clara, California:


The Philadelphia Union and the home standing San Jose Earthquakes battled to a 0-0 deadlock.  The Union's Faryd Mondragon made 3 saves for his sixth shutout of the season while the Quakes' Jon Busch notched his fifth clean sheet thanks to 9 saves.
