MLS: Wild Draw Between Revs and RSL; Goose Eggs For Sounders and Galaxy

Two games were played in Major League Soccer on Monday.


At Sandy, Utah:


Fabian Espindola's equalizer at 82 minutes enabled Real Salt Lake, who had trailed 2-0 after 15 minutes, to gain a 3-3 home draw with the New England Revolution.  Will Johnson (23') and Alvaro Saborio (PK-55') also scored for RSL.  The Revs' goals came from Rajko Lekic (PK-4'), Chris Tierney (15'), and Shalrie Joseph (62'). Both clubs finished the game with ten men apiece.


At Carson, Califonia:


Rookie goalkeeper Brian Perk, in his MLS debut,  made five saves, including one on Fredy Montero's penalty kick at 17 minutes as the Los Angeles Galaxy battled the visiting Seattle Sounders to a 0-0 stalemate.
