MLS: Red Bulls Gore Reds; Crew and Goats Also Win; Rapids and SKC Draw

Four Major League Soccer matches were contested on Wednesday.


At Harrison, New Jersey:


Theirry Henry (33') and Luke Rodgers (37') scored within five minutes of each other in the first half while Juan Agudelo scored twice in the second half (67', 88') as the New York Red Bulls demolished visiting Toronto FC 5-0.


At Kansas City, Kansas:


Graham Zusi's equalizer at 63 minutes salvaged a 1-1 home draw for Sporting Kansas City in their battle with the Colorado Rapids, whose Conor Casey scored at 31 minutes.


At Vancouver, British Columbia:


Jeff Cunningham's goal in the 90th minute, his MLS record-tying 133rd careerwise (equaling the total scored by former DC United star Jaime Moreno), carried the Columbus Crew to a 1-0 road win over the struggling Vancouver Whitecaps.


At Carson, California:


Goals from Ben Zemanski (64') and Nick LaBrocca (84') were enough as Chivas USA blanked the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-0.
