CONCACAF Champions League: Sounders Top Herediano In Costa Rica; Hoops Settle For Home Draw; Pumas Devour TFC; Home Win For Comunicaciones

Four games were played on Wednesday as group stage action in the CONCACAF Champions League continued.


Group C:


At Frisco, Texas:


Luis Moreno's successful penalty kick in the 41st minute lifted Tauro FC to a 1-1 road draw with FC Dallas.  Daniel Cruz scored for the Hoops in the 1st minute.


At Mexico City:


Martin Bravo's first-half hat trick (17', 33', 42') helped UNAM Pumas bludgeon visiting Toronto FC 4-0.


GROUP C STANDINGS:

Group D:


At San Jose, Costa Rica:


Fredy Montero scored twice (3', 54') as the Seattle Sounders picked up this week's lone win for an MLS club, 2-1 on the road over Herediano.


At Guatemala City:


Carlos Ramirez scored the lone goal of the match at 45 minutes as Comunicaciones defeated visiting Monterrey 1-0.
