Own Goal Propels Candystripes To Home Draw That Keeps Them Atop League Of Ireland Premier Division Standings

At Derry (Londonderry), Northern Ireland:


Robert Duggan's own goal in the 88th minute, combined with an earlier tally from Gareth McGlynn (74'), enabled Derry City to erase a two-goal deficit and gain a 2-2 home draw on Monday with struggling Drogheda United which enabled them to stay atop the League of Ireland's Premier Division standings.  Brian Gannon (3') and Gavin Brennan (38') each tallied once for the visitors.
