Here's what happened at a Dutch Cup clash on Wednesday night at the Amsterdam ArenA:
The fan targeted Esteban after running on to the playing area 37 minutes into the KNVB Beker clash at the Amsterdam ArenA.
Esteban, 22, responded by kicking the fan several ties, including when he was on the ground, leading him to be shown a red card by referee Bas Nijhuis. Livid AZ coach Gertjan Verbeek called his players from the field, with them subsequently leaving the ground and forcing Nijhuis to abandon the game.
Boneheaded excuse for a "fan."
