UEFA Champions League Group H: Late Comeback Against Rossoneri Gains Europa League Knockout-Stage Berth For Viktoria Plzen; Easy Win For Barca

Two games were played on Tuesday as Group H action in the UEFA Champions League came to a close.

At Barcelona:


Martin Montoya fires Barcelona's second goal against BATE Borisov


Pedro Rodriguez scored twice (63', 88') as Barcelona demolished FC BATE Borisov 4-0, making sure that the visiting Belorussian club were eliminated from European competition.  Martin Montoya is shown here scoring for Barca in the 60th minute.

At Prague, Czech Republic:


Alexandre Pato


David Bystron (89') and Michal Duris (90') provided the late scoring dramatics as FC Viktoria Plzen secured a spot in the knockout stage of the Europa League with a 2-2 comeback draw against AC Milan.  Alexandre Pato (47', that's him shown here) and Robinho (48') scored their goals a minute apart early in the second half for the visiting Rossoneri, who already locked up a Champions League knockout-stage berth.

Barcelona and AC Milan have advanced to the Champions League's knockout stage, while FC Viktoria Plzen qualified for the knockout stage of the Europa League.  FC BATE Borisov's European campaign drew to a close.
