UEFA Champions League Group E: Blues Win Group

The final week of group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League commenced on Tuesday with eight games, two of them in Group E.

At London:

Chelsea celebrate after Didier Drogba's second goal made the game safe against Valencia

Didier Drogba scored twice (3', 76', that's him celebrating with teammates after the second goal) as Chelsea won Group E with their 3-0 home beatdown of Valencia, who were eliminated from the tournament and now will prepare for Europa League Round of 32 play.

At Genk, Belgium:

Bayer Leverkusen players trudge from the field after their draw with Genk saw them slip to second

Eren Derdiyok's equalizer in the 79th minute carried knockout-stage-bound Bayer Leverkusen to a 1-1 road draw with KRC Genk.  Jelle Vossen scored at 30 minutes for the already-eliminated-from-European-competition Belgian club.  Here, we see the German club leave the pitch after struggling to gain the road draw that saw them, combined with Chelsea's fist-beating of Valencia, finish in second place.
