TIGRES WIN APERTURA TITLE; GAIN CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP-STAGE BERTH

At San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico:


Hector Mancilla (52'), Danilinho (64'), and Alan Pulido (86') each scored a goal in the second half on Sunday as Tigres came from behind to defeat visiting Santos Laguna 3-1 in the second game of the two-match Mexican Primera Division Apertura playoff final and won the Apertura title 4-1 on aggregate.  Both clubs will enter next season's CONCACAF Champions League, Tigres in the group stage and Santos Laguna in the preliminary round.
