Two games were played in the group stage of the CAF Champions League on Sunday.

Group A:

At El Gouna, Egypt:

Walid Soliman (9'), Ahmed Abd El-Zaher (15'), Mohamed Aboutrika (52'), and Ahmed Fahty (71') each scored a goal as Al-Ahly clinched a berth in the semifinal round by defeating visiting Zamalek 4-2, eliminating their arch-rivals from the tournament in the process.
