UEFA Champions League, Group E: Easy Win For Royal Blues; Chelsea Knocked Off At Home

Eight games were played in UEFA Champions League group-stage action on Wednesday, including two that took place in Group E.

At Gelsenkirchen, Germany:



Atsuto Uchida (67'), Kevin-Prince Boateng (78'), and Julian Draxler (85') provided the scoring as FC Schalke broke open what was through the first hour a scoreless stalemate and ended up dominating visiting Steaua Bucharest 3-0.  Here, we see a bunch of happy Royal Blues celebrating.

At London:



Mohamad Salah (pictured here celebrating with teammates) scored the equalizer in the 71st minute, then Marco Streller scored the winning goal in the 81st minute as FC Basel came from behind and knocked off home-standing Chelsea 2-1.
