CONCACAF Champions League: Arabe Unido Eliminates W Connection; LA Firpo Tops CD Victoria, Clinching Quarterfinal-Round Berth For Aztec Dogs

Two games in CONCACAF Champions League group-stage action were played on Thursday.

Group One:

At Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago:

Luis Fraiz (28') and Abdiel Arroyo (60') each scored a goal as Arabe Unido climbed to the top of the Group One standings by eliminating the W Connection 2-0 on the road.

At San Salvador, El Salvador:

Erick Rivera scored the winning goal in the 82nd minute as CD Luis Angel Firpo knocked off visiting CD Victoria 2-1, handing the Group Seven crown and a quarterfinal-round berth to Club Tijuana.
