CAF Champions League: Group B Action Concludes

Action from Group B of the CAF Champions League concluded on Saturday with two games.

At Calulo, Angola:

In the tournament finale for both clubs, Idrissa Halidou (8') and Souleymane Binate (41') each scored a goal as Sewe Sport gained a 2-2 road draw with Recreativo do Libolo.  Joao Tomas (4') and Nuno Silva (PK-11') each scored a goal for the hosts.

At Garoua, Cameroon:

In a battle of clubs that had already advanced to the semifinal round.  Khaled Gharesellaoui (7') and Ahmed Akaichi (24') each scored a goal as Esperance ST defeated Coton Sport 2-1 on the road.

FINAL GROUP B STANDINGS:

1. Esperance de Tunis (GP: 6; GD: +5; PTS: 15)
2. Coton Sport (GP: 6; GD: -1; PTS: 8)
3. Sewe Sport (GP: 6; GD: -1; PTS: 5)

Esperance de Tunis and Coton Sport advanced to the semifinal round.
