Group A play in the CONCACAF Gold Cup concluded on Monday with two games, both contested at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas.
In the opener, Duckens Nazon's goal in the 13th minute held up as Haiti defeated Honduras 1-0 and, as a result of Panama's later draw with the United States, clinched second place in Group A and a berth in the quarterfinal round.
In the nightcap, Michael Bradley's equalizer in the 54th minute carried the already-quarterfinal-round-bound United States to a 1-1 draw with Panama. Blas Perez scored for the Panamanians in the 33rd minute. The Central American country can still advance to the knockout stage as one of the two best third-placed teams in the tournament.

1. United States (GP: 3; GD: +2; PTS: 7)
2. Haiti (GP: 3; GD: 0; PTS: 4)
3. Panama (GP: 3; GD: 0; PTS: 3)
4. Honduras (GP: 3; GD: -2; PTS: 1)
The United States and Haiti advanced to the quarterfinal round. Panama can still advanced by ending up as one of the two best third-placed teams.
